Haleiwa Bowls serves up colorful acai bowls, smoothies, local kombucha, and more out of a charming thatched hut surrounded by tropical green plants. Everything about this place is instagrammable, from the dark wood storefront to their fruity creations, which taste as good as they look. Plus, there’s an unexpected menu item that may just be my favorite on the island ☕
This is a great place to stop in the morning for a healthy breakfast or a snack mid-day after searching for turtles on the North Shore.
You’ll find organic, plant-based menu items made with local ingredients at Haleiwa Bowls. Their acai bowls are amazing and can be customized with more than thirty toppings and botanical supplements. If you don’t see your ideal açaí concoction on the menu, they also give you the option of creating a bowl to your specific liking!
The Ultimate Acai Bowl!
Blended frozen acai, crunchy hemp granola, sliced bananas, fresh strawberries, blueberries, raw coconut flakes with a drizzle of sticky local honey. Haleiwa Bowls are often regarded as the best on the island!
@HaleiwaBowls | The Blue Majik bowl is a popular choice due to its unique blue color. It’s practically begging to be photographed!
Smoothie Perfection
Haleiwa Bowl smoothies are also fantastic! I get the acai smoothie when I’m on the go. I love that they include a few spoonfuls of granola on the top so you get the best of bowl-th worlds 😉
The Best Island Cold Brew Around
But what I seem to stop here most for is their local organic cold brew! It is my go-to for an afternoon pick me up when I’m in the area. They have mastered my favorite island coffee order – coffee, coconut milk, and honey. No one does it quite like Haleiwa Bowls! The flavor is out of this world.
Lauren’s favorites:
- Cold brew with coconut milk and honey
- Acai Smoothie (acai, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, almond milk)
- Mana Bowl (frozen acai puree base topped with granola, local bananas, raw coconut flakes, and local raw honey)

Parking: There are a few spaces behind the Haleiwa Bowls stand for customer parking. There is also a dirt lot next to Haleiwa Bowls reserved for patrons of the restaurant across the street, but I’ve seen a bunch of people park here to grab a bowl or smoothie.
