A good arvo (aka afternoon) begins with a good morning and good coffee. That’s what Honolulu’s cutest cafe, ARVO, was built on, so it’s no doubt you’ll find some of the best brew here! ☕
Tucked inside SALT at our Kaka’ako (a city block driven by passionate chefs, artists and entrepreneurs), this stylish cafe serves up delicious food in a gorgeous, sun-washed outdoor space that brings coastal Aussie aesthetic to the capital of Hawaii. The bright space features a takeaway window, picnic tables shaded by adorable beach umbrellas, and perfectly placed greenery.
I typically go for the cold brew no matter where I am, but while sitting at a picnic table next to the takeaway window, I overheard multiple people order their lavender latte!
Their toast selections are delicious. I get the smoked salmon toast or the loaded avocado toast. True to their Australian influence, you can even get a swipe of Vegemite!
Lauren’s favorites:
- Cold brew with coconut milk or 2% milk
- Smoked salmon toast
- Loaded avocado toast
Located in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Kaka’ako:
324 Coral Street at SALT, Honolulu, HI
Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Parking Info:
Parking for ARVO can be confusing since it is located inside of the block square. You won’t be able to see ARVO Cafe from the street.
You can find a spot on one of the side streets or you can park in the SALT parking garage (333 Keawe Street). If you park on the street, you’ll have to walk inside of the SALT block. View the SALT at our Kaka’ako directory map or reference the green circle on the map below – ARVO is located smack dab in the middle.
